Barretos Cancer Hospital (BCH) in São Paulo (Brazil) is a private, non-profit hospital, offering free, high-quality care to people from all over Brazil and other countries in South America. The institute has a long tradition in cancer prevention, harboring more than 19 mobile units that cover rural and remote areas, together with more than 9 satellite hospitals in underserved regions in Brazil. BCH is also strongly involved in research and participates in several international consortiums, such as The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC), and World Innovation Networking for personalized medicine (WIN).
