

The “Latin American and Caribbean Code Against Cancer” is the first Regional Code that adapts the model of the European Code Against Cancer under IARC’s Framework for a Global Code Against Cancer initiative to develop cancer prevention recommendations for the region, taking into account the specific contexts in terms of risk factors, health systems and social inequalities in the Latin American and Caribbean Region.
